Yes HE Can...

I am so excited about the upcoming new sermon series we're launching on January 11th.  I was emotionally moved like most folks when I heard President Elect Obama's speech after winning the election.  Especially when he came toward the end of his speech and  began to close each statement with the now notorious "Yes We Can," slogan that continues to inspire people of all ages. But the recent economic hardship and reoccurring catastrophic events has left most folks with a bit of anxiety and a need for more than just a political slogan.  I strongly believe that God desires for us to be filled full of hope and optimism during such trying times as we sincerely turn to Him.  My series title, "Yes HE Can" is obviously a spin off of Obama's acclaimed theme, but it is meant to focus each of us on the continued power and ability of God to accomplish great things, miraculous things, especially in times of hardship.  The weeks ahead will fill our hearts full of faith and hope while we focus in the Word on God's ability to accomplish anything.  Nothing is impossible for Him.  He is incredibly worthy of our trust.  Join us, whether in person or online.  Spread the Word, God is ABLE!  Dare to believe...YES HE CAN!
